CHROME SWITCH is an innovative holder rack for chromatic harmonicas:
It allows to play a chromatic harmonica in a hand free mode and at the same time the musician is free to play another instrument, such as a guitar or piano.
CHROME SWITCH can be used with all chromatic harmonicas that have a length of max. 18 centimeters. E.g. with Hohner Chromonica 64.
Below that lenght, the rack can be individually adjusted to all sizes and shapes of chromatic harmonicas.
It functions on the base of a pneumatic system: The half-tone-shift-button of the chromatic harmonica is moved by a pneumatic signal created by a pedal. The signal is transduced to the holder rack via a robust and flexible rubber hose.
The first time that a chromatic holder really works under practicle conditions. The patented pneumatic method has opened completely new options: the systeme is very robust but at the same time it is low in weight, it operates nearly noiseless, doesn't need any energy supply and is easy to operate.
Chromatic harmonicas have a much larger tone-range than the smaller diatonic harmonicas, also known as blues-harps.
Hence these instruments allow to play all kinds of songs in all kinds of tonikas and scales: It is not required to change the harmonica when the tonica changes or to try to create half tones by bending technices.
Until now there were no holders commercially available for chromatic harmonicas.
However with this invention players of chromatic harmonica can easily accompaign themself by guitar or keybords and heavily increase their musical means of expression.
For those who already play blues- harp along with their guitar this might be a quantum jump for their musical development.
CHROME SWITCH was created by by PIU, who loves to play guitar and harmonica by himself.
PIU was always wiching he could play guitar and chromatic harmonica at the same time. But unfortunately there was no suitable holder system on the market.
Since PIU is engineer and posseses some handcraft skills, he started working on technical solutions in the 2020 years and created various proto types, and tested them while playing for hours and hours.
The first models were further optimized and tested and fabrication was switched to 3d printing of major parts.
Finally the CHROME SWITCH came out, but stilll the journey goes on.
Attached please find some YouTube vidoes that further explain the system:

Piu Introduces Chromeswitch, a Holder for Chromatic Harmonicas - YouTube
Piu founded a one man band to play around with the new developed pedal-system. Besides of harmonica and guitar he also plays a percussion pedal, hence three instruments at the same time.
The band's name is "Dunewoods-one-man-band".
